Helmets

This simple, finely crafted helmet was used by Royal Prussian Guard during 18th century. It has a hard leather body which is pressed by die. The spine, front plate and chin scale is of brass. It has a very good finish.

The 6th (Inniskilling) Dragoons is amongst the most famous of all the British Cavalry regime which bravely saw the action at Waterloo. It was the most beautiful helmet ever adopted in British Service. Fully gold plated, this helmet is based on Grecian form with magnificent oak leaf encrusted crest mount bearing detachable "leaping lion" on front finial. Full royal coat of arms is emblazon with shield over battle honor "WATERLOO" in scroll beneath. Rich gilt scrollwork incorporates branch leaves that cover the skull and neckpiece. The body is encircled by an embossed band bearing "INNISKILLING DRAGOONS" above the front visor plate.

Shako Helmet - This helmet brings alive the most beautiful elements from world of militaria. The Shako helmet has a leather visor with an immaculate design. Royal Canadian Dragoon (GM 2095 A) : In 2008, the regiment required new helmets for its 125th anniversary celebrations on Parliament Hill in Ottawa, Canada. The previous helmets were too heavy and extremely uncomfortable and other suppliers only offered over-sized awkward designs that flopped around when mounted or when on the march. Lastly a couple of UK companies offered solutions but were three times the price of what could be afforded. The same quality that has been used in the parade is available with us.

Prussian (GM 2114 B): This helmet is made of steel. It is a true replica of original piece. Brass trim brass FR eagle, officer spike, fitted by 10 mm dome rivets and liner of very soft leather are some of the distinctive features of this helmet.

Mounted Dragoon Picklehube (GM 2094 B): This Pickelhaube for NCO Dragoon served the Chinese forces during the period of 1900-1910. Mounted Dragoon Picklehaube is believed to be used by the soldiers in the Boxer Rebellion of 1900. The helmet features black leather formed body with all brass fittings, including cruciform base spike with NCO pearl ring and plain stud retainers. The chin scales are brass, convex and secured by matching rosettes. A single Reich Kokarde in the national colors is worn on the right side of the helmet. The front plate consists of the colonial services eagle crafted out of brass.

All of the furniture is gilt and handsome, especially the wappen and the chin scales. The interior of the helmet is comfortable with all the tongues of liner in place. The sizing thong is also not present. This ancient helmet is a very fine example of a scarce variation of a Dragoon Helmets.

Imperial Bravarian (GM 2095 A): It is made of hard leather stuff. It is completely made of leather. The helmet has leather chin scale, brass trim, brass spine, brass spike and are fitted by screw on the round base. Available in three sizes.

The light weight, Stove Pipe Shako was used by British infantry during Napoleonic wars. This helmet is made by felt visor and is made by leather. The front portion is made of well engraved brass.
